Impressively large, this project achieved near net zero with a 434 kW solar ground mount and carport combo, a 100 ton Daikin water cooled geothermal VRV system and a building automation system (BAS), alongside other energy efficiency upgrades.

Educational Background

Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Missouri but comes from the real estate industry. A serial entrepreneur, Chris has extensive experience in commercial real estate development and utilizes this knowledge when presenting financial models to clients.

Janine has worked in research settings for over 2 decades, conducted over $12 million in federal grant research, and taught at the University of Missouri. When not with the EnergyLink team, she owns and operates her highly successful human resources consulting business, JSAdvantages.

This is EnergyLink’s largest public project. Mike guided our sales team on the development of this project, from the RFP stage to winning bid, advising team efforts to ensure we secured the project.

Having had an extremely successful sales career, Mike currently runs Austin Sales Consulting and mentors / advises early-stage start-up companies on their go to market strategy.

He uses his expertise to manage EnergyLink’s Sales, Business Development, and Sales Support as they prospect new clients, develop proposals, give captivating presentations, and close deals.

The Shikles Center project features EnergyLink’s first usage of a Managed Energy Service Agreement, allowing a third party to fund the project.

FairCom Corporation, Columbia, MO

Craig was instrumental in negotiating the FairCom project, guiding them to selecting a package with a large solar array, LED lights, and HVAC controls.

 Having owned and operated a craft brewery, Craig specializes in energy projects that increase energy efficiency for the brewing industry. He also holds a strategic role in the company and contributes strongly to expanding EnergyLink’s growth.

Craig holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, which makes him great at articulating the value of EnergyLink’s proposed projects due to his added layer of technical expertise.

Nicholaus Rohleder, Independent Director for EnergyLink

Nicholaus Rohleder is a Co-Founder of Climate Commodities, a financial technology company that operates the largest digital marketplace for offtake contracts, feedstock contracts, and insurance solutions in addition to a critical minerals mining, processing, and refining business and solar + energy storage business in the renewable power sector. In addition to his role at Climate Commodities, he is also the Co-Founder of the New American Energy Fund, a hedge fund focused on the climate technology supply chain and energy transition. He holds board positions at the following companies under the title Independent Director: $230 million climate technology focused special purpose acquisition company, Clean Earth Acquisitions Corp (NASDAQ: CLIN), waste remediation technology provider, Renovare Environmental (NASDAQ: RENO); solar + storage energy service company, EnergyLink; and climate technology investment bank, Ardour Capital.

Outside of his professional commitments, Mr. Rohleder serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Earth Institute and the Climate School at Columbia University teaching the course on life cycle analysis and materials science, as an Alumni Board Member at the Earth Institute at Columbia University, as a member of the production team for the Energy Policy Now Podcast at the University of Pennsylvania’s Kleinman Center for Energy Policy, as a member of the Energy Technology Leadership Council at Tulsa Innovation Labs, an economic development initiative funded by the $4 billion dollar George Kaiser Family Foundation, and as a member of the regional Forbes 30 Under 30 Board for Texas.

Mr. Rohleder received a Master of Environmental Studies with a concentration in Environmental Engineering and Technology from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Science in Sustainability Management with a concentration in Environmental Finance from Columbia University, and is a former Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree.
