EnergyLink was awarded a national solar project for Extra Space Storage, with it comprising of three different solar installations in South Carolina. The main goal was to advance the real estate company’s ESG goals. Some of the most notable benefits of the project include:

• On-site power generation: EnergyLink’s crew will install 68.5 kW, 121 kW and 102 kW rooftop solar arrays on top of three different South Carolina locations. This will provide a source of clean, renewable power and reduce each facility’s reliance on the local electric grid.
• Decarbonization: These installations will help to further reduce Extra Space Storage’s carbon emissions from operations, which the company is making an effort to decrease. As an added bonus, operating costs will be heavily reduced.
• Job creation: With the project requiring EnergyLink to mobilize crews nationwide, our Operations team will be employing skilled solar installation professionals from around the country.
