Project details
North Carolina State University showcases a long history of prioritizing sustainability through solar developments and renewable energy and continues this initiative to reach ESG and sustainability goals. In the past 10 years, NC State installed multiple solar arrays to harness clean energy and generate long-term cost savings on its energy-intensive campus.
The university established an RFP for a rooftop solar array on Fitts-Woolard Hall as a recent expansion in development to further sustainability goals. NC State enlisted the industry expertise of EnergyLink to design, construct and finance the 157 kW rooftop solar array.
